Cover Oregon was rolled out on October 1st yet after six weeks the website is still not able take enrollments on line. If you think you will qualify for tax credits AND need insurance by January 1 please call our office to set up an appointment as soon as possible. We will fill out a paper application and fax it into Cover Oregon. If you don’t qualify for tax credits we can enroll you in a plan anytime up until December 15th for a January 1 effective date. Despite glitches in Cover Oregon, Healthcare.gov and other state healthcare websites across the nation, the law has not changed. All individuals are required to be enrolled in a health insurance plan by March 31st, 2014, or face tax penalties.
